Dark Imports

This week I will discuss a type of beer popular in Europe, most notably Germany and Austria. The type of beer is called 'dunkel bier,' German for 'dark beer.' This type is available in nearly all brands of western European beer.
The dark variety contains more malt than its lager and wheat beer counterparts, manifesting itself in a dark color that can range from deep brown to light reddish amber.

Perhaps to start this column it is best to examine what defines a 'Geek' or 'Nerd.' Dictionary.com defines nerd as "an intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit."
Certainly, many students can relate to this. One particular voice of choice at Clarkson seems to be World of Warcraft, or WoW for short.
