In the past few years, Clarkson has done many great things to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. The school has hugely improved its recycling program, gotten rid of Styrofoam take-out containers, and switched to biodegradable silverware instead of plastic.
Guinness

In honor of Ben, I decided to write my first beer article on one of his favorites, Guinness. I have had Guinness several times before. Guinness is a dark beer that hails from Arthur Guinness' brewery in Dublin, Ireland.

Many people take for granted reliable access to clean water; yet, according to the World Health Organization, more than one billion people use unsafe sources of drinking water. The problem is exacerbated by the global trend towards urbanization that marginalizes the rural poor, resulting in a cycle of ill-health and poverty within which children are typically the first to suffer from the burden of disease caused by dirty water and poor hygiene.

our savior is humanity.
our rules are your rules and my rules,
we rule our own destiny against chance's failing hand.

Each year, 16 undergraduates are chosen from the 14,000 SigEps nationwide to participate in the Quest through a rigorous application process.

This upcoming Sunday, September 14, will be the annual Mid-Autumn, or Mooncake, Festival in Asia. Mooncakes are a Chinese pastry traditionally eaten during the festival. Similar to Thanksgiving, families in Asia will get together on this day and watch the full moon together.

A sorority is thought of as a thorn in the side of a campus far too often. Stereotypes have them wreaking havoc among the towns and turning innocent girls into party animals. These false connotations are exactly what the three Clarkson University sororities aim to disprove.

In a nutshell, the Interfraternity Council, or IFC, is the direct governing body for Clarkson fraternities. What does IFC's responsibility entail? The average person would assume that the council exists for the purpose of cracking down on fraternities. In actuality, IFC plays a more significant role.
