Ever wonder what your favorite athlete is like off the ice, off the field, or off the court? The time has come to know your Knights! This week we had the chance to sit down with three members of Clarkson's Alpine Skiing team. Here is what Kurt Naser, Margot Epstein, Jason Thayer, Rob Reed, and Mallory Gilmore had to say:

Why did you get involved in skiing?

Kurt: "I started at three so I didn't really have a choice." Margot and Jason: "My family skis." Rob: "I was strapped into skis when I was two and went from there." Mallory: "I need a winter sport and I'm not good at Basket-ball."

Are there any other sports you play?

K: "Soccer and broomball." ME: "I like horseback riding." J: "Indoor soccer." R: "Indoor soccer and broomball until this year." MG: "Horseback riding. I also played soccer and lacrosse in high school."

What's your favorite part about being a skier?

K and ME: "Spandex." J: "Slalom gates." R: "Romper suit. I love constriction." MG: "Wearing the spandex."

What is your favorite memory of (sport)?

K: "Skiing the last in-conference race of my career in Lederhosen." ME: "Skiing the last in-conference race of my career in an 80s outfit." J: "Skiing big peaks." R: "Dropping it out of bounds in Jackson Hall." MG: "My Dad squishing me between him and a tree."

What is your favorite event?

K, J, R, and MG: "Slalom." ME: "Giant slalom."

What is your hometown?

K: "Arlington, MA." ME: "Sodus, NY." J: "Macedon, NY." R: "West Suffield, Connecticut." MG: "Woodbury Connecticut."

When are your birthdays?

K: "January 16, 1986." ME: "June 11, 1986." J: "April 22, 1985." R: "June 28, 1986." MG: "January 27, 1986."

What is your major?

K: "Mechanical engineering." ME: "Mechanical engineering with a math minor." J: "Civil engineering with a concentration in construction management." R: "Civil Engineering." MG: "E-Commerce."
