Ever wonder what your favorite athlete is like off the ice, off the field, off the court, or out of the pool? The time has come to know your Knights! This week Siobhan and Jessica had the chance to sit down with seven baseball players. Here's what Greg Chojecki, Rick Bittner, Sal DiSanza, Matt Giordano, Matt Holiday, Cale Giroux, and Mike Bresett had to say.

How did you get involved in baseball?

Chojecki: "My dad." Bittner: "My dad, I liked playing catch." DiSanza: "Family barbeques and I liked playing Wiffleball." Giordano: "I grew up watching my dad and brothers play." Holiday: "I knew from a young age, that I like to hit the long ball." Giroux: "My dad was a coach and its America's game." Bresett: "I like to play with balls."

Are there any other sports you play?

GC: "Bowling, hockey, golf." RB: "Soccer, golf." SD: "Football, hockey." MG: "Basketball, football, golf." MH: "Football, golf." CG: "Football, wrestling." MB: "Wrestling and golf."

What is your favorite memory of baseball?

GC: "Hitting a whack off a three run ball." RB: "A homerun at Jamestown in Legion baseball." SD: "Hitting a game winning double in high school." MG: "Making the game winning diving catch to go to the sectional finals." MH: "Hitting a pitch at grand slam." CG: "Having a game winning hit to win the sectional game." MB: "I had a game winning hit to go to the Gold Medal Game at the Empires."

What position do you play?

GC: "Pitcher." RB: "Pitcher." SD: "Catcher." MG: "Centerfield." MH: "First base." CG: "Leftfield." MB: "Second base."

What is your pregame ritual?

GC: "Coffee." RB: "Calling Cal a frog." SD: "Being called a 'girl down there part' by all of my teammates." MG: "Getting Pep some salt." MH: "Reading Scripture and making animal noises." CG: "Wearing my lucky belt and wearing my lucky socks." MB: "Throw it in me, you fat slob."
