Trick or Treating

Halloween has officially passed by, but people are still happy about a successful night. When Saturday finally came everyone became full of energy knowing that they get to get as much free candy as they are willing to work and whine for.
Parents got the younger children out early, probably around 3 o'clock, all dressed up in their cute little outfits and went around knocking on doors. The children, who were all hyped up, asked for candy, caused problems, and got annoyed and whiny. When the parents finally got tired, the children started to beg to go trick-or-treating longer. For the unfortunate children, they had to end early, but the lucky ones, they were passed on to other relatives or friends that were out so the parents could retire. Then when it became later and later in the day, the true fun began.
The older children came out; pranks were pulled (hopefully legal tricks) and the parties began. As the night progressed, so did the energy. It is Halloween, the night of scaring each other the best we can, and coming up with the best costumes. Creativity was shown in each costume; it showed if it was something they just bought at a dollar store or something they actually took time to create, to make it become something real.
The best thing about Halloween is all the free candy. If you plan it out carefully you can come away from the night with so much candy that it will last you a year. One great plan was to take an infant out trick-or-treating. You dress them up and take them door to door, and the great thing about infants is that you can start around 3 o'clock if you want to. Another positive thing about babies is that they are still too young to eat their candy. So lay claim to their candy and take them out trick-or-treating. Kids are nice too, if they like you and aren't greedy little things, then they will even share their candy with you. It's still good if the kids give the candy to you. Then as the time goes by, your turn to trick-or-treat comes. You drop off the baby then go out with your friends or whoever and begin to get candy all over again.
The worst that you can do though is to go around stealing candy from kids. It's one thing to take candy from a baby who can't eat it and even then you should still get permission from the respectable person. But if you go around taking the candy from random kids, first of all that is bullying and I am pretty sure you do not want to feel the wrath of mothers. All mothers are scary when they are mad at you. So beware of the wrath of mothers when trick-or-treating.
Other than that, trick-or-treating is a great time for friends and family to spend time together. To get dressed up as whomever you want to be and get free candy. I hope you all had a great Halloween!
