Are you kind of a fruity type of person? Are you looking for a cooking recipe that matches your personality? Well too bad, you don't even need to cook for this one! Here's a very fruity smoothie recipe that's perfect for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack that makes enough for two!

Ingredients:

1 cup orange juice

1 ½ cups frozen fruit

1 banana

½ cup yogurt

Blender

Recipe:

1) Peel the banana and break into smaller pieces.

2) Combine all ingredients in a blender.

3) Make sure the top is covered and blend on a medium to high setting.

4) Blend for about 15 seconds or until smoothie has even consistency.

5) Adjust amount of ingredients based on desired thickness of smoothie.

6) Pour into two separate glasses. Enjoy!

To be honest, I completely estimated the quantities of the necessary ingredients. This is a very easy recipe to adjust after it has been initially blended. If you enjoy thick smoothies add a little less OJ and more fruit. For a smoother consistency, do the opposite. If you have fresh fruit instead of frozen, just add a handful of ice with the mix.

Your creativity can explore the greatest depths of the various flavors for smoothies. For instance, try different yogurts, like fat-free if you want to be health conscious. Try using different fruit juices instead of just plain OJ and try different combinations of frozen fruit. The most common is probably strawberries to compliment the banana for a strawberry-banana smoothie. Mango is one of my favorite smoothie fruits and I also enjoy the tart flavor of black berries and raspberries. Don't take my word for it though, find out for yourself!
